Luna Bike Rides ðŸš²

FULL MOON LUNA BIKE RIDES are held every month during the full moon and are a brave space intentionally for working class femme, femme-identified, queer women, trans, and gender non conforming peoples of color.  We do this for several reasons:

1. We are committed to creating a brave space by and for working class femme, femme-identified, queer women, trans, and gender non conforming peoples of color. We recognize that colonialism, capitalism, misogyny and cis-hetero patriarchy is violent and its effects have created deep wounds within ourselves and our siblings. Healing is hard, but our Luna bike rides create a brave space free of judgement and hostility and a dangerous space for misogynists, rapists, and the gender binary.

2. We are detribalized colonized people on a mission to reclaim our indigenous understandings and  our relationship to the moon and the land. We recognize that growing up in the city, it is easy for us to forget that we are connected to Coyoxauhqui but our Luna bike rides are a constant reminder that we come from the earth. We are accountable to the land today and always.

3. In this brave space, we are able to build and share skills against the Systems of male domination which include colonialism, capitalism, state power and police violence!

*It is important that you leave toxic masculinity at home and to kill the cop inside your head…. Our goal is to provide a brave space and a welcoming environment for our femme, femme-identified, queer women, trans, and gender non conforming siblings of color. We want you to leave with a sense of collective confidence and security as you reclaim the streets at night. Collective care against the patriarchy is also political work.
